Ed served as a Presbyterian pastor for 21 years. He has since had leadership roles in not-for-profit organizations working to serve the most vulnerable in society. He earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a Master of Divinity Degree from McCormick Seminary. He later earned a doctorate from McCormick in organizational development.
