Eduardo is most excited about welcoming immigrant communities to our beautiful city of Chicago and being a part of an organization that does so compassionately and humanely. As a first-generation Mexican-American, the struggles of creating a new life in a new country are not new to him or his family.
I am driven to support the immigrant community because I deeply value empathy, inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future. I also recognize the social, cultural, and economic strengths that diversity brings to communities, and I am motivated to help create environments where immigrants feel supported, respected, and empowered to succeed.
