Born in Uganda, Sarah was a participant in the ICDI housing and case management program after arriving in the United States. A few years after graduating from the ICDI program, Sarah joined the ICDI team to lead the Welcome and Essentials program. She was then invited to serve on the Board as well. She has a B.A. in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
I am deeply guided by UBUNTU: “I am because we are.” It reminds me that our humanity is shared, and this belief drives me to show up with compassion to uplift others and help create a community where everyone feels they belong.
